April 6th at the Mill Woods Senior and Multicultural Centre

Come join a family fun pickleball event to support building resilience in vulnerable youth in your community.

This is your chance to participate in purposeful Pickleball play at the upcoming Youth Unlimited Pickleball For All Event on April 6th, held at the Mill Woods Senior and Multicultural Centre located at 2nd Floor, 2610 Hewes Way NW. Edmonton, AB (second floor of Mill Woods Public Library)

Your dedication and enthusiasm for Pickleball will serve as a potent force for positive change, generating a ripple effect of support for vulnerable and marginalized youth in our community. By building strong positive relationships today, both peer and adult, Youth Unlimited believes youth facing challenges like depression, anxiety, loneliness, and despair will discover hope needed for thriving in the future.

Join us in making a meaningful impact in young lives through the joy of Pickleball.

EVENT HIGHLIGHTS

  • Date: Saturday, April 6th from 9 AM - 3 PM. 

  • Location: Mill Woods Senior and Multicultural Centre 

  • Cost: $50.00/player for the first event and $20 / player for the second event. 

  • Timings: Specific times for all events are on the registration form below.

  • Skill Levels: We will be hosting events for all levels—beginner, intermediate, or advanced. We will be using a self-evaluated rating system for tournament competitions. i.e. skill level 3.0, 3.5...

  • Dynamic Partnerships: Participants will be paired in dynamic partnerships during the scrambles round robin in the afternoon. A doubles tournament where partners change after every game.

SOLO PLAYERS

  • For individual players who can't find a doubles partner, fear not! As tournament play is geared for doubles only, we'll help you find the perfect partner, fostering new connections within the Pickleball community. While partner availability isn't guaranteed, our commitment to a positive experience remains unwavering.

EVENT FORMATS

Saturday

  • 9 am - 12 pm: CoEd Doubles Round-Robins: Levels 3.0 and 3.5

  • 12 pm - 3 pm: Womens Doubles Round-Robin: Levels 3.5 

  • 12 pm - 3 pm: Double Scrambles: Levels Beginners, 2.0, and 2.5

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

Individual Registration: Every player's journey to help hurting youth begins with individual registration. If you want to be involved in more than one event, please be sure to use the Multiple Events ticket options. Also, please remember to register for your event(s) by answering the questions at the bottom of the ticket purchase form.
